IRRIMAKER

IrriMaker is an irrigation design software package that incorporates survey, design, and CAD into one powerful and intuitive solution. Hydraulic pipe sizing, pivot placement, and topography analysis are made easy.

Data Entry:

Data can be entered using manual survey methods or by importing data from electronic data recorders or GPS systems. Various fixed and free format ASCII data formats can be captured from existing drawings and text files. Scanned bitmap images can be loaded, traced over and plotted with the other data. Co-ordinates with heights can be imported from Google Earth and Google Maps and a complete DEM can be created.

Survey:

Observations are automatically reduced to Y, X, Z coordinates with retention of the original observation data. Various survey instrument data formats are catered for.

A double coding system is available whereby the user may identify specific detail. Two alpha-numeric codes per observation are available without any restriction on the meaning of specific codes.

Modeling:

The surface model (DTM or TIN) is created using a fast automatic triangulation routine with or without break lines. After the model is created the user has full control over the various functions provided to graphically edit the model. The model can be viewed in 3D.

Drafting:

Irri Maker includes a full and comprehensive integrated CAD, linked to the survey data and all the basic and advanced drawing functions. This enables the user to create detail drawings efficiently on screen with the survey model active in the background.

Apart from the standard drawing elements, user definable line styles, symbols and patterns are easily added to the system. The necessary functions are in place to manipulate raster images along with CAD vector elements.

Irrigation Design:

A comprehensive suite of irrigation design tools has been developed to produce fast and effective irrigation block layouts. IrriMaker will automatically size pipes to user-controllable norms and standards. IrriMaker produces a comprehensive bill of materials.

The irrigation design module offers flexible functions that will allow you to produce hydraulic layouts for landscape areas, agricultural farms, mining or any other area where the conveyance of water is required.

Accepting the elevations from the DTM model and guidelines from the CAD, IrriMaker can automatically produce layouts of nodes and pipes. The user may at any stage intervene, adjust the design and add, edit or delete elements at leisure.

Reports are produced of pressures, velocities, and quantities. Users can easily build their own custom reports.

Output:

The output of results may be printed or saved in a file in various formats including DWG, DXF, SHP, KML, XML etc.
